Published: 19:46 GMT, 21 March 2018 Updated: 12:27 GMT, 22 March 2018A Texas man has spoken out about how he was bullied as a junior high school student by the district's current superintendent.Greg Barrett addressed the Katy Independent School District board on Monday and revealed that Superintendent Dr Lance Hindt tormented him in the mid-1970s at West Memorial Junior High School.Barrett, whose legal name is Greg Gay, is seen on video taken of the meeting tell the board that he was constantly bullied by students, teachers and staff because of his last name. Hindt appeared to laugh off the claim'One day at lunch, I had my head shoved in a urinal, where it busted my lip. I had laid on the ground in the fetal position as the kids kicked me,' he said.He says the bullying was so severe he tried to take his own life.'Well I went home and I got the .45 out of my father's drawer and put it in my mouth because at this point I had nobody. Nobody in the school system to help me,' said Barrett.Barrett then closed his statement by accusing Hindt of being that bully.'Lance, you were the one that shoved my head in the urinal,' he claimed before walking out of camera view.In the clip of the board meeting, Hindt appears to laugh off the accusation and asks for the next speaker to be called. ...
